By now you’ve probably heard of local influencers like MomTok and Ballerina Farm. But here are some cool Utah TikTokers you may not know about.
Babs De Lay is a Utah realtor who often posts about fun SLC facts/history. For example, behind the Brickyard Plaza shopping center in Sugar House is a huge chimney stack. It’s the last remnant of the old brick manufacturing company, which was the largest in the West at the time.
Darienne DeBrule is a FOX13 reporter, and she posts about the best things to do and see in Utah. From coffee shops to hair braiders — she’s got you covered.
Maria Amaya is a lifestyle vlogger who has introduced me to so many hidden food gems in Utah: Guayoyo Cafe (empanadas and specialty coffee), Sushi Franco (fried sushi), and La Yaquesita (Sonoran hot dogs), to name a few.
Daniel Steiner has a passion for maps. In one video he dove into the history behind Salt Lake City’s notoriously large blocks, but he also explores maps from around the world. Check out his YouTube channel for more longform videos.
Emma Heath is a sewing girly who also posts guides to her favorite shoppy shops in Utah and while traveling. I appreciate her videos as I’m in my sewing/craft era, and I found out about Harmony (a fabric and yarn shop in Provo) through her.
Kendall Rodriguez is the queen of SLC and a friend of the pod. We’d be remiss not to include her on this list! She’s really got a pulse on what’s happening in our city and often highlights small businesses. Listen to her take on the best and worst tourist traps.
