Are you on the side of the internet where everyone is making their food from scratch? I don’t think I’ll ever be on that level, but learning to make sourdough seems like a more attainable goal. If you’re on a similar journey, here’s a spotlight on local classes and sourdough makers.

I first found Abigail’s Oven bread at the Salt Lake Farmers Market. After sampling a morsel, I took one lap around the market and circled back to buy a loaf of the jalapeño cheddar. They offer free virtual sourdough classes taught by Abigail herself. You can pick up a free starter at their bakery in Spanish Fork.
Book a private class with Scott by sending a message on Instagram. It’s a great activity to do with a gaggle of friends.
While breadmaking is fun, we’re not all trying to be Ballerina Farm out here. In that case, buy your loaves from these talented local dough slingers.
