Donate Halloween Costumes
Sugar House Coffee is accepting Halloween costumes for babies, kids, and teens through Tuesday, Oct. 15. Only full costumes, please!
Winter Coat Drive
Life Stone Counseling, A New View Counseling, and Flourish Therapy are accepting donations for Utah refugee families. The most needed items are adult coats and jackets, winter gloves, and snow boots. Gift cards are also accepted. Donations are open through Saturday, Nov. 30.
Spooky House Award
Nominations for the Spooky House Award in South Salt Lake are open! Residents can nominate themselves, a friend, or a neighbor with the best Halloween decorations on the block. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Brick Sorting Event
Volunteer to sort through bricks at the 5th Ward Meetinghouse on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon. ICYMI, this historic building is being restored after it was partially demolished in error.
