If you’re anything like me, half your social media is just food. Here are some of my favorite local food accounts, that keep me in the know on the best restaurants and pop-ups around town.
Fig Eats | @fig.eats
Christy at Fig Eats loves food and loves documenting it. She has great taste and spotlights all the hidden gems I’ve never heard of. I always discover a new go-to from her page.
Morann Ekins | @mermansandwich
I discovered Morann on TikTok and she really does it all: she’s a caterer, a personal chef, a recipe developer, and she occasionally does pop-ups with the likes of Uncle Boggy’s and Neighborhood Bakery (two other great food accounts to follow).
TYFTSN | @thankyoufortheshortnotice
Food pop-ups are all the rage in Salt Lake City right now, from pizza to pastries. One thing’s for certain, if it’s a pop-up by TYFTSN, you know it’s gonna be good.
Homesik | @homesik_coffee
Second best only to a food pop-up is a drink pop-up, especially when it involves Vietnamese coffee. Started by Lindsey and Lily Nguyen, their next pop-up is this Saturday at 10 a.m. at The Stockist.
Female Foodie | @femalefoodie
Female Foodie was founded in 2010 by Salt Laker and life long food lover Brooke Eliason. Today, the website features a team of food writers sharing recipes and restaurant guides from across the country. It’s a great resource to use while traveling.
