This week’s roundup of food news covers all the major food groups: Brunch, street food, and ice cream sundaes.

🧇 Brunch at Franklin Ave

Stuart Melling at Gastronomic SLC has us drooling over the brunch at Franklin Ave. Pictured above is Chicken N’ Waffles, only the waffle is a funnel cake. They also have a Dungeness crab omelet and duck confit chilaquiles.

🍲 New Food Truck

Look out for 9-Up Market at the Salt Lake City Farmers Market. They’re a new food truck that makes Asian street food like pork belly bao and gyudon (a Japanese beef rice bowl). They also have honey citrus mint soda and fries that you add your own seasonings to (like nori seaweed or honey barbecue).

🍑 Peach Ice Cream

Take advantage of peach season at Burgess Orchards in Alpine. They have delectable peach sundaes through the end of September.
