It’s the last day of the Utah Legislature's 2025 general session. Do you need to de-stress? Bookmark this article for ways to relax (or rage) your worries away in Salt Lake.

🧘‍♂️ Yoga

I took a yoga class at Rebel House, and it was lovely. I’m no yogi, but the teacher had a great yoga voice — calming and relaxing. We finished the class in resting pose, as you do, and she put a warm towel over everyone’s eyes, which was a nice touch.

Another goodie: the free candlelit yoga every first and third Tuesday at the Marmalade library.

🥊 Boxing

Located in the Lower Avenues, the Salt Lake City Boxing Club is a great place to blow off steam, whether you’re new to boxing or Apollo Creed. I didn’t realize how much #femalerage I had until the first time I took a class. Damn, it feels good to punch something really hard.

😤 Rage

Along those lines, get your stress out by smashing things into a million little pieces at a rage room. You can even BYOB (bring your own breakables).

🧖‍♂️ Relax

If a spa day is more your speed, get an essential facial at Landis Lifestyle Salon. They have locations in Marmalade and Sugar House, and it’s a fairly good deal for a spa treatment. For $89 (before tip) you get a 75-minute facial that includes a hand, foot, face, or scalp massage.
