February may be the shortest month, but it’s chock full of things to do. We’re taking Valentine’s seriously by indulging in things we love, with the people we love, and even making new friends along the way.

Your Guide to February 2025 in Salt Lake

Don your cowboy hats for the Salt Lake Winter Roundup on Feb. 8, a Saturday of skijoring down West Temple. If you haven’t heard of skijoring, it’s when a horse and rider pull a skier or snowboarder through a snow course with jumps and rings — an absolute thrill!

The first rule of Bite Club is to tell everyone about Bite Club! This social dinner gathering is a way to meet new people and eat good food. Try to sign up for their events early as spots fill up quickly.

See bald eagles in February, it’s the time of year when hundreds of them fly here in search of food. It really is a majestic sight to see one in the wild.

A daytime DJ set at a Salt Lake City coffee shop? Sounds like my jam! Breakfast Blends happen about once a month. So far they’ve been to Holy Water and Picnic Cafe and it seems like such a vibe. Things like this make SLC feel like a big city.

Say I love you with the gift of brunch for dinner! Forty Three Bakery is hosting “I Love You a Brunch” on Feb. 13 and 14 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It’s $75 a person and includes a prime rib station, smoked salmon station, a juice bar, and more.

What are you looking forward to in February?
